Pearl Kathleen Fetterly formerly Locey aka Robson

Pearl married into the Countryman line in 1920 to Vernon Robson, born in 1899. Vernon is the child of Albert Robson and Annas Countryman. I decided to spend extra time on this collateral cousin in law because she died on February 29th. She is the only person to have a leap day event in my tree so far.

Pearl's first husband was the 3rd great grandson of Jacob Countryman, and my wife is the 5th great granddaughter of Jacob.

Marriage

WEDDING Robson-Locey The marriage took place at the home of the bride's parents First Street West on Monday evening at 8 o'clock of Pearl Katherine, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Edgar Locey, and Lloyd Vernon Robson of Watertown, N.Y., son of Albert Robson of Cornwall. Rev. J. P. MacFarlane of the Methodist Church officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white silk georgette and bridal veil, and carried a bouquet of sweet peas androses. A dainty repast was served after the ceremony, following which Mr. And Mrs. Robson left on the 9:32 train for Kingston. They will make their home in Watertown, N.Y. Among the friends present from a distance were Mrs. Ben Rigg of Hamilton, aunt of the bride. The presents received by the bride were numerous and costly, and included several cheques, silverware and handsome cut glass. Mrs. Robson was a popular member of the Methodist Church, and the many friends of the bride and groom join in wishing them every happiness. Owing to a recent bereavement in the bride's family, the wedding was of a very quiet nature. ~The Freeholder, Cornwall, Ontario, Thursday, July 15, 1920[7]
